A Day to Get Out and Explore
Rise and shine, lovebirds! Enjoy a fresh three-course breakfast in our Glasgow or St. Andrews dining room, or outside if the weather permits. If you’re looking for indulgence and a little exclusivity for your breakfast, you may order your breakfast boxed to take back to your wee accommodation so that you can enjoy breakfast in bed.
After breakfast, you’re taking your love to the skies with a scenic air tour! It’s one of the most beautiful things to do in Hocking Hills for adults. This is a great way to see our beautiful area and get a bird ’s-eye view of our grounds.
This afternoon, you’re going to play up the woodsy theme and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch for two! Enjoy some privacy on our spacious grounds as you and your loved one reconnect with each other and nature. You may want to hunt down one of our hammocks on the grounds for a little rest and relaxation together.
After lunch, you’ll keep your feet on the ground, but you two are off to explore our private Hocking Hills hiking trails. You could also head to Hocking Hills State Park, one of the most popular things to do in Hocking Hills. The rushing water will remind you of the rush you felt when you first met your partner!
That night, head to the Pub for our nightly social hour. Enjoy a glass of wine or single malt with your partner as you meet with other guests. The social hour precedes dinner service.
The Perfect End to Your Weekend Getaway
Sundays are a relaxing day around our Hocking Hills Resort, but you will need to make your way out of bed as your massage therapists arrive for your back-to-back one-hour couples massage. Start your day with a light breakfast before your massage, or indulge in a relaxing meal afterward as your therapist works out any lingering tension.
After a relaxing morning, you’re out to explore our nearby Ohio wineries. It’s one of our favorite ways to enjoy romantic getaways in Ohio. Many of these wineries are family-owned and operated and produce some of Ohio’s finest wines. Have fun with your loved one as you sip new varietals and perhaps find a bottle or two you both love to bring home with you!
