Hocking Hills Art Museums & Studios
The Bowen House is a cultural art center in Logan, Ohio, for exhibits, concerts, and art education. A variety of events are hosted there throughout the year, showcasing local and regional artists, plus workshops and classes.
Hand-Forged Iron, also known as Lockhart Ironworks, is home to Doug Lockhart, maker of hand-forged ironworks. Visitors can watch him create stunning pieces, and it is easily one of the most unique things to do in Hocking Hills.
Hocking House features clay art from Jean Magdich. From whimsical garden sculptures to decorative stepping stones, it’s a gardening art experience, and one of our favorite things to do in Hocking Hills. Additionally, Hocking House often hosts workshops.
Jack Pine Studios offers glassblowing demonstrations, classes, and a gift shop. Visitors can watch skilled artisans at work, transforming molten glass into stunning creations right before their eyes. It’s one of the most impressive Hocking Hills activities.
Ohio Glass Museum is one of the top things to do in Hocking Hills. It features daily glass-blowing demonstrations. The museum provides a glimpse of the history of glassmaking and offers various events, classes, and demonstrations, and more!
The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio is located in the Reese-Peters House. The center features all types of decorative arts, featured exhibits, and a small gift shop. Admission is free!

Touch The Earth Adventures is an outdoor adventure experience created by Mimi Morrison to inspire people to be in tune with our Earth through hiking, kayaking, and cycling expeditions. Enjoy day trips and birding by kayak, full moon paddles, and sunrise or sunset paddles. Women’s workshops on hiking, kayaking, and backpacking are also available.

To kick off your Hocking Hills shopping, browse the Glenlaurel Gift Shop. We have a wide variety of unique gifts, wine, artwork, Celtic treasures, locally made crafts, and more!
- If you prefer antiques, the Hocking Hills Market is a nice stop. You’ll find antiques, arts & crafts, jewelry, and furniture. Located off Route 33, northwest of Route 180. They also have a flea market every weekend! It’s a great place to explore and hunt for unique treasures.
- The Logan Antique Mall is located at Rempel’s Grove (off State Route 664) and is full of antiques and other collectibles. With dozens of vendors, the mall offers a wide selection of unique finds, from vintage furniture and décor to rare memorabilia and keepsakes. It’s the perfect spot to spend an afternoon browsing and uncovering hidden treasures.
- The Midwest Glassware Outlet is also located at Rempel’s Grove and is full of American-made items. Shoppers will find an impressive selection of glassware, including decorative pieces, kitchen essentials, and timeless collectibles. It’s a great stop for those looking to pick up interesting gifts.
- A visit to the Hocking House is a must! It’s one of our favorite things to do in Hocking Hills. The craft gallery features handmade clay, art, glass, and pottery. This charming studio and garden showcase the work of talented local artists, offering one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t find anywhere else.
- Make sure to stop by the Wind Chime Shop before leaving the area, as they have handmade wind chimes, garden decor, and candles. The soothing sounds of the chimes create a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to find the ideal addition to your garden or patio.
- Another little gem is called Vintage en Vogue. This retail shop is in downtown Logan, and they offer eclectic items, clothes, antiques, and one-of-a-kind finds. From vintage fashion to unique home décor, the shop is a treasure trove for those who love discovering something special.
