Our multi-course dinner is a refined journey through Glenlaurel’s seasonal gourmet offerings, artfully prepared and presented in the intimate ambiance of our Manor House. The evening begins with an amuse-bouche and transitions into multiple courses, including a savory soup, crisp salad, intermezzo, an expertly crafted entrée, and a decadent dessert. A Signature Culinary Experience
Each Saturday, Glenlaurel, A Scottish Inn & Cottages honors tradition with its most elaborate culinary experience. An hour before dinner, the sound of live bagpipes drifts across the estate, calling guests to the evening’s festivities. Just before dinner seating, guests gather in the Manor House to enjoy a brief ceremonial verse while being led into the dining room. After the poetry is read, the piper offers a final short verse, marking the start of a memorable meal.
The Signature Chef’s Tasting Dinner expands upon our weekday menu with the inclusion of the feature Rack of Lamb or optional other protein choices. Courses include an amuse-bouche, house-made soup, seasonal salad, refreshing sorbet, dual entrées, and a decadent dessert prepared in-house.

The Perfect Couple's Getaway
The Glenlaurel Inn is our getaway place to relax and enjoy time together, no chores waiting, no distractions. The cottages are designed just for that. They now have Roku available, plus lots of DVDs to borrow. The kitchenette is well designed, including a Keurig coffee maker and microwave. This time it was too cold for the hot tub, but we are hoping for better weather in February, when we will return. When it is clear, the stars are spectacular. Technically it is not a dark sky, but very close to it.
